Your Training Journey
Each week you will have the opportunity to attend zoom sessions for your online theory with your allocated Qualifi tutor. Your training will begin with an induction week which will include zoom sessions and reading materials.
Zooms will be held in groups and you will receive emails weekly with your allocated slot. These sessions are mandatory and are part of your guided learning hours (GLH) which you are required to fulfil throughout your learning. Failure to not meet the required GLH will result in non-certification from the Awarding Body.
Most importantly, you will have 7 months to complete all 5 units. Students are required to have completed all 5 units’ tasks and assignments in this timeframe. Failure to complete by this date will result in you not receiving certification from the Awarding Body.
All practical elements per unit will be scheduled in month 8 and 9 as well as written and oral assessment. These will be communicated to you at least 6 weeks prior in order to make the necessary travel arrangements. You will need to attend the academy for practical sessions for assessment, Internal quality assurance and the external quality assurance visits from Qualifi. Case studies can be carried out within the student’s own clinic/salon setting.
