Qualifi Level 4 – Diploma in Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation
Course Overview
The rationale of the programme is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop their aesthetic practice capabilities within the health and aesthetic sector. The expected outcome of the Certificate, which is the achievement of a recognised UK qualification, is for learners to develop the skills required by organisations and the aesthetic industry globally. This qualification will prepare learners for employment and support a range of roles in the workplace. This qualification provides a specialist work-related programme of study that provides breadth and depth of knowledge and understanding, along with practical skills required in the aesthetics sector. This qualification will help to prepare professional staff and managers of the future in the aesthetics sector. This qualification provides a generic core of mandatory units that apply in all aesthetics contexts.
Time Taken
The course has a total of 300 Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 174 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and is made up of credits which will be delivered over a period of 8 months.

Entry Requirements
Entry to the qualifications will be through centre interview and learners will be expected to hold the following:
• A Qualifi Level 5 Certificate in Aesthetic Practice or equivalent regulated qualification.
Or
• A Level 6-degree level or equivalent as a qualified health care professional with evidence of relevant skincare and anatomy and physiology knowledge to support the procedures. The health care professional must be registered with a national professional health care statutory regulatory body in the country where the qualification is being delivered. There must be no conditions attached to their practice. (Professional registration numbers will be required)

• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and anaphylaxis management training.

In addition, all learners must prove they hold a relevant English language qualification if English is not their first language. Proof of entry requirements is required before registering with the Awarding Body.
LEVEL 7 COST : £4,999
Total Qualification Time (TQT): is an estimate of the total amount of time that could reasonably be expected to be required for a learner to achieve and demonstrate the achievement of the level of attainment necessary for the award of a qualification.
Examples of activities that can contribute to Total Qualification Time includes guided learning, independent and unsupervised research/learning, unsupervised compilation of a portfolio of work experience, unsupervised e-learning, unsupervised e-assessment, unsupervised coursework, watching a pre-recorded podcast or webinar, unsupervised work-based learning.
Guided Learning Hours (GLH): are defined as the time when a tutor is present to give specific guidance towards the learning aim being studied on a programme. This definition includes lectures, tutorials and supervised study in, for example, open learning centres and learning workshops, live webinars, telephone tutorials or other forms of e-learning supervised by a tutor in real time. Guided learning includes any supervised assessment activity; this includes invigilated examination and observed assessment and observed work-based practice.
