Party Feet: Botox and fillers for the feet, don’t let discomfort hold you back

You might have heard of Louboutin-foot or party feet. It’s the name given to the pain in your feet caused by wearing high heels. Wearing heels is one of the most common causes of foot pain, whether you wear them every day or just for special occasions. But, the good news is you don’t need to choose between beauty or pain anymore! At Cosmetic Couture, we offer Botox and fillers for the feet to treat a range of problems.

This is also one of our most popular aesthetic courses, as more practitioners realise the benefits of offering a treatment to help their clients deal with recurring foot pain. Designed for medics and non-medics alike, the course will teach you how to use targeted injectable hyaluronic acid fillers like Juverderm and Restylane along with Botox injections from brands such as Azzalure.

Discover everything you need to know about using botox and fillers in the feet to prevent common foot complaints. It doesn’t matter if your shoe of choice is Louboutin, Jimmy Choo or Valentino – you’ll never have to sacrifice comfort for style ever again!

Foot fillers – hyaluronic acid fillers for the feet

Our feet have natural shock-absorbing pads that protect the metatarsal bones around the balls of your feet.  When that fat pad begins to lose volume through aging, it becomes less effective. This leads to pain and discomfort as well as more serious problems like neuromas (a thickening of the tissue around your foot)  and bursitis (the inflammation of the fluid-filled sacs that cover your joints).

Hyaluronic acid fillers for foot pain are a great alternative to surgery. The dermal fillers are injected into the balls of the feet restoring volume to the area and reducing discomfort. Not only do the fillers immediately volumnise the areas, the hyaluronic acid also stimulates collagen and binds water in the area for a longer lasting result.

Or, perhaps you suffer from painful corns on your feet? Dermal fillers reduce the discomfort that comes with this too. Corns are patches of hardened skin that are caused by excessive pressure on the foot. The fillers are injected directly underneath these patches of hard skin reducing the pressure and cushioning the foot, so you walk comfortably again.

With minimal recovery time and long-lasting results, hyaluronic acid fillers are a great alternative to more invasive surgery. So, it’s no surprise that this is one of the most popular aesthetic treatments on the market.

Botox for the feet

Along with dermal fillers, Botox injections offer relief for various conditions affecting the feet.

Morton’s Neuroma

A common complaint for heel wearers,  Morton’s Neuroma is a condition that causes a growth between the third and fourth toes due to inflammation in the nerves. Sufferers feel pain, burning sensations and a tingling between the toes that can be very unpleasant.

Botox reduces the severity of Morton’s Neuroma by slowing the release of acetylcholine – a neurotransmitter responsible for controlling voluntary muscle movements. This improves the spasticity of the muscles and connective tissues and provides pain relief, especially when wearing heeled shoes.

The benefits of these Botox injections in the feet can last anywhere from 3 to 4 months.

Hammertoe

Another pitfall of wearing high heels or constrictive shoes is  a condition known as hammertoe. This causes the muscles in the toes to permanently bend forwards, making it painful and difficult to walk.

When botox is injected into the toe muscles it essentially paralyses them, allowing them to relax and return to their normal position. This eliminates the pain felt by hammertoe sufferers.

How much are Botox and fillers for the feet

Treating your feet with Botox or dermal fillers should cost roughly the same as a treatment on any other part of the body. The cost depends on how much product is required and how many treatments are needed to achieve the desired results. Typically Botox injections for the feet start at…. While filers for the feet cost around….
